Team Banamalli : Devoted for Human Cause
Tribute to Padmashree D.Prakash Rao l 14 January 2021
A memorial service was organized by the Banamalli Sahitya and Seva Sangathan in memory of the late Padma Shri D Prakash Rao, a popular social activist, in the premises of the institution’s office this evening.
We are deeply saddened to learn of the untimely demise of Padma Shri De Prakash Rao, the iconic symbol of service and sacrifice. We arrived at the Hope and Reassurance Institute set up by him at Cuttack Boxy Bazaar on 18/06/2018 to invite him as the Chief Guest on the institute’s annual festival on 16/06/2017. His sense of humor and social responsibility as a normal human being had a profound effect on us. His inspiring speeches at the Banamalli festival are still remembered today. The imprint he left on social life will continue to be a source of inspiration for all of us.
